This article overviews the Hostspace order widget found on both CloudOne DevOps/CaaS On-Boarding and Manage order forms.

Description

Hostspaces are environments for the deployment of application components after development and initial unit testing have completed. They support integrated testing, user acceptance testing, staging, production, and production DR environments. Up to ten Hostspaces can be provisioned via a single order at On-Boarding. After On-Boarding, individual Hostspaces or bundled orders of up to ten Hostspaces can be ordered from the CloudOne DevOps > Manage order form.

Best Practice

• Applications which are not cluster-aware should provision all spaces in the same Cluster.
• Dataspaces should be provisioned in the same Cloud Region as the hostspaces, to avoid performance degradation & connectivity complications.
