SelfAssist Request/Manage Projects - V 1

Getting Started with SelfAssist Project Management

The SelfAssist Portal is a self help tool with AzureDevOps and CloudOne Tools to aid the AzureDevOps users in Creating a new Project, Requesting a Project, Managing user projects etc. To create or manage projects click the azure devops tools button on the top right and navigate to the Request/Manage Projects Tile in the screen.

Control Access by User Role

All access to the functionalities in the Request/Manage Project tool are User Role based. The following are the features of this tool along with the project or organization roles who can control them.

Create Project in an Organization

Roles : Organisation admin group members.

Only parent or system defined process can be assigned to projects while creating them. To create new inherited process or update the process of a project please visit the project management screen. Only the org admin group members can create an inherited process or update the existing process of a project - (More on how to create a new process ). The project admins of the corresponding projects can request the org admin to create a new inherited process or update it (More on how to request for process )

Roles : All members of organization.
